The HOUSE of COPERNICUS
The beginning of May is the perfect time to plan the next, very pleasant weekends, when on sunny days you will be able to devote yourself to traveling, both near and far!
As you know, I love exploring different corners, both those located thousands of kilometers from my hometown of Włocławek, as well as those completely close, located at your fingertips. One of such places is the Gothic Toruń and its countless attractions.
I highly recommend a visit to Dom Kopernika-The House of Copernicus (located at 15/17 Kopernika Street), which is located in a beautiful tenement house in the center and is an interesting place to visit. And you can visit it from the basement to the roof and enjoy the beautiful architecture and numerous memorabilia related to the astronomer. Particularly noteworthy is the precision with which the lives of the then inhabitants of this tenement house were depicted.
The Copernicus House is a perfect place for children (we have interactive sightseeing options and a 4D cinema), it is full of nooks and crannies and rooms that perfectly reflect the atmosphere of old times. This space is not overloaded with information, which is important for those who avoid traditional museums. Multimedia presentations will fully allow you to get acquainted with information and curiosities.
The ticket costs PLN 22.50 (reduced PLN 17.50).
